ST. PAUL, Minn. - In a release put out today by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference office, the Northern State women’s basketball team was not only picked to finish first in the league in 2006-07, they also had one of their players picked to be best in the conference. In the poll, Northern State barely edged out MSU Moorhead as favorite in the conference.
