Wolves end Season at Regional

Omaha, Neb.- The Northern State University Wolves season ended on Sunday as they were unable to qualify anyone for the National Tournament.

The best chance for the Wolves to qualify was with Dana Dargatz at 157, Todd Naasz at 197 and Jess Hockley at HWT. These three wrestlers ended up finishing in fifth place and they take the top four to the Nationals. Dana Dargatz lost a tough match to Minnesota State Moorhead's Kyle Tout 3-2 in a true fourth-place match. Naasz was unable to get into the third place match as he lost a 3-2 match to Minnesota State Mankato's Ben Janike and Upper Iowa's Brian Black pinned Hockley in a true fourth-place bout.

The Wolves season ended abruptly which was a dissapointment, but it is time to get refocused and prepare for next season.
