Wolves Finish Sixth

 

Wolves End up Sixth at St. Cloud Invite  

St. Cloud , Minn. - Northern State University finished in sixth place at the St. Cloud State Invite on Saturday. The Wolves had five wrestlers finish sixth or higher in their weight respective weight classes.

Dana Dargatz (Sr., Webster, SD) and Jesse Wood (R-Jr., Milbank, SD) both finished third at the Invite in their respective weight classes. They both had some tough competition but battled and finished strong for the Wolves.

Other Wolves that finished in the top six were Todd Naasz (R-So., Mobridge, SD) who finished in fourth place in the 197 pound weight class, Logan Hyman (Fr., Grand Island, NE) finished in fifth place in 133 pound weight class and Mark Burkart (Fr., Cody, WY) who finished sixth in the 141 pound weight class.

The Wolves will be in Reno, NV on Dec. 18 to compete in the Reno Tournament of Champions. Wrestling is set to start at 9:00 am.
