High School: Wrestled for Yankton High School ... placed third in the State Tournament his senior year after going 32-2 overall ... took sixth place as a junior ... was also an All-State soccer player ... was Student of the Week in third grade.

Personal : Served in Iraq and received a Purple Heart.
