Jark Named All-Region

ABERDEEN, SD – Northern State red-shirt freshman Brian Jark was recently named to the Don Hansen's Football Gazette 2006 All-Northwest Region Third Team. Jark was also named to the All-North Central Conference First Team following the completion of the 2006 season.

Jark (Aberdeen, SD) was Northern State’s top receiver this season, leading the league in receptions per game (7.75). This figure put him at second in the nation among all Division II receivers. He broke NSU's single season record for receptions caught with 84, passing Brent Sheehan's record of 79 set in 1992. Jark averaged 75.9 receiving yards per game and caught nine touchdowns for the Wolves.
