ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State’s Toby Korrodi (San Antonio, Tex.) was named as Don Hansen’s Football Gazette and d2football.com’s national player of the week.

Korrodi, a 6-4, 220-pound, redshirt freshman, threw for a school record 502 yards and four touchdowns in Northern State’s 59-52 loss to Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday. Korrodi was an impressive 31-for-49 passing in the game in his record setting performance. On the year, Korrodi has thrown for 2,134 yards (304.9 y/g) and 21 touchdowns. Korrodi was also touted as the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.

Northern State, 5-2, 3-1 NSIC, will host Bemidji State on Saturday in the Wolves’ final home game of the year.
