Dr. Benkert's Virtual Family Photo Album

Here are some photos of the people I depend on most -- ok, people and pets I depend on most.

Click here to see Jeanne's Thanksgiving in Greensburg, PA.

Or here to Jeanne's Christmas in Fairbanks, AK.

Here is a family photo from our trip to Alaska this summer, 2002 -- Jeanne, Steve and Drace.  This was Jeanne's first camping trip.  She even got to see a moose (from a very long way away).

Here is Drace showing us what you're really supposed to do with leaves in the fall.

Here is Jeanne the fairy princess -- it was a pink Haloween this year.

Here is Drace's costume -- Jeanne wanted him to be a Cheerio, but he stayed home with Mom to hand out treats, instead.

Kenai, the intrepid Elkhound, is terribly dissapointed that no moose have shown up in the middle of the night.  He waits, but not very patiently, for a great deal of snow to fall.

Notice how the picture gives him the illusion that he is actually capable of standing motionless.

Alas, Kenai has had to take up another residence.  We will always remember him fondly, and we hope that someday we can have another dog as affectionate as he was.  Maybe after we have no more toddlers in the house.

Sydney, the ever patient kitty, sits in relative safety on the back of the couch, knowing full well (with  the smugness only a cat can muster) that she can still climb higher than both of the kids -- it is a position of power that is short lived, but we allow Syd her temporary feelings of superiority.
