29TH ANNUAL BUSINESS SKILLS CONTEST

Hi,

It’s that time of year again and we are currently making plans for the 29th Annual NSU Business Skills Contest.  I would like to thank-you for your participation in our annual Business Skills Contest.   Plaques will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners and a certificate to the fourth place winner in each individual event.  We will continue to count the top four place winners on a point scale of 5-3-2-1.  Team trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place schools.

This year's Business Skills Contest will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007.  We will allow a limit of 3 students per school that may compete in each contest event with the exception of the computer principles and the keyboarding examinations which we will continue to allow 2 students due to limited space in the computer labs.  Note this is a change from prior years.  A student may compete in only one test event.  Any student who has received a plaque may not compete again in that same event.

A $300 scholarship will be awarded to all first place winners.  The scholarship will be available to any winner who decides to attend Northern State University as a business major upon high school graduation.

When you arrive on campus the day of the contest, feel free to park in any available spot except a handicapped spot or a loading zone.  If you receive a campus parking ticket, turn it in to me or send it to me, and I will take care of it.

Please return the enclosed form listing your school's participants in the contest events.  I look forward to seeing you on April 25th.
