The 2010 Women in Science Conference (WIS) was held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Johnson Fine Arts Center on the campus of Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD.
This was our 9th Annual Conference, designed to encourage girls and young women to consider STEM careers (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
The day's schedule:
8:30 - 9:15 Registration
9:15 - 9:30 Welcome and Introduction of guest speakers
9:30 - 9:40 Report to first session
9:40 - 11:30 Small Group sessions
There will be four 20-minute sessions with 10-minute breaks between sessions.
11:30 - 12:45 Lunch
1:00 - 2:15 Keynote speaker
2:15 - 2:30 Post Survey/ Awards
