SCIENTIFIC IMAGING
Scientific Imaging (Biology 468) was taught for the first time in the fall of 2004. Dr. Tallman and Dr. Ramsay team taught this course. There were several guest lecturers who discussed their work with GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Topics covered included:
- Digital photography
- Digital microscopy
- Basics of Adobe Photoshop
- Basics of Microsoft FrontPage and Netscape Composer
- Publishing web pages to a server
- Use of GIS and GPS (Global positioning systems
