	NSU alum Loren Lutz, now a teacher at Waubay School, is shown here getting our NSU judges ready for a day of good clean History fun! With all the reading, writing, and discussing students do in History classes at Northern, they make great judges.

	We spent plenty of time with each participant that day, but some people moved more slowly that others. Shanna, still on crutches after some ankle surgery, took advantage of being in a farming community by having a "slow-moving vehicle triangle" applied to affixing to her backpack. Her concerned fellow historians point out their concern to her. We're a great bunch!
