· Scott had a list of suggested tag lines from Jana Green

· Dr. Grettler asked how much money is made from t-shirts and where it goes
· Have sold 100 t-shirts in last two runs

· Dr. Grettler:  Harry Potter: Seymour Hall and the knaves behind it
· Allison Hoff suggested to Professor Dias a “boy band” theme with the faculty’s heads on a bunch of buff “boy band” members

· Liz hasn’t told us about Jake Bosmoe yet so will assume he is a “no”
· Dakota Silk Screen does limited design work
· Dr. Grettler will contact Rocky Hartberg to see if he is interested
· Sales/ Advertising
· Dr. Grettler suggested selling t-shirts at the Spring Pancake feed during finals
· Dr. Grettler suggested entering a group in the Quiz Bowl so the shirts will be advertised when the Quiz Bowl is aired on Northern’s channel
· Professor Dias will send out a flyer when the design is finalized so people can pre-order t-shirts
· Badge
· Dr. Grettler suggested a badge on the shirt sleeve
· Malene suggested selling the badge separately
· It would have a tag line like “I survived” (or something similar)
· The badge would have spaces for each of the professors
· Individual professor pins/ stripes would be sold separately
· Dr. Grettler suggested the badge be similar to Benjamin Franklin’s Autobiography chart

· Future Activities (in part to boost retention)
· Reverse trick-or-treating
· January 16, 2002 at 7 p.m.
· Dr. Grettler agreed to join Professor Dias and the officers in this excursion
· Dinner with Dr. Grettler and Professor Dias
· To take place in March
· Dr. Grettler and Professor Dias will work out the details
· Student History Conference in Vermillion at USD on Thursday, April 24th
· Pierre trip to the SD Historical Society
· Will try to go in early spring or will make plans for a fall trip
· We will talk in January about the trip
· We will go to Bristol in April
· Muzzle loaders
· Dr. Grettler and Scott will set this up for late March/ April
· Will need $40 for insurance
· Will contact Bar N Silo to find members (they get together and have meetings; they wear animal skins for events)
· Get together, shoot things, have dinner cooked on the fire, sleep in a tipi
· Will have to remember to bring digital camera
· Dr. Grettler will contact Lois from the ARCC
· She does a 19th century re-enactment
· Can provide period costumes for 30-40 people
· Gettysburg “Where the war wasn’t” Civil War re-enactment
· Traveling classroom (maybe set up internships at same time)
