History Club Meeting

Fall 2002 First Officers’ Meeting Commences: 3:00 p.m.

· Scott proposes we have an officers’ meeting every month
· All present agree
· Next officers’ meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 26 at 5 p.m. in Professor Dias’s office (Seymour 342)

· It is decided that Scott will take over the email account
· He is given the address (nsuhistory@yahoo.com) and the password
· Scott will email messages from that account to students
· Malene will email minutes to that account

· Malene suggests a link be put on the web site for student access
· This is agreed to be a good idea
· Professor Dias will contact Tanya to see if a link can be created

· Next History Club meeting set for Tuesday, November 12 at 8 p.m. in the Newman center
· Professor Dias will contact Father Larry to make sure this is feasible
· Professor Dias will send out flyers before the meeting
· Scott will send out an email before the meeting

· Fundraising
· History Club T-shirts to be sold for $13-15/ shirt
· Sell old one design again?  NO.
· Create new design to sell?  YES.
· Advertise to have artist create new design
· Malene will contact the What’s Up
· Liz will contact the Exponent
· Artist must submit design by 11/12 or bring it to the meeting and present the idea
· Design will be chosen at the 11/12 meeting.

Meeting concludes: 3:25 p.m.
