Hall-Scott

This web site is dedicated to famed engine maker Hall-Scott. From this home page you can access reading materials, find examples of Hall-Scott products to visit, view a few photos, and check out a brief illustrated history of the firm. The photos used on this site are from the collections of Ric Dias and/or Francis Bradford unless otherwise noted, the data is from various sources - newspapers, journals, books, brochures, interviews, etc. Francis Bradford, an engineer at Hall-Scott for 18 years, and Ric Dias have collaborated on a long-term Hall-Scott project. To date, this work has created two published articles and a book, entitled Hall-Scott; The Untold Story of a Great American Engine Maker, published by SAE, Int'l, which became available for purchase February 2007. The book can be ordered at: http://www.sae.org/technical/books/R-368

Do you have Hall-Scott artifacts, photographs, brochures, or information of any kind? We are always looking for more materials, including from the Hercules era, to aid our project. If you would like to contribute to The Cause, or if you have questions, stories to swap, pictures to show, even if you need parts for your engine, please contact:
