Information on Hall-Scott (or company co-founder E.J. Hall) is frustratingly difficult to find, a prime reason why so little Hall and Hall-Scott history has been written until very recently. This lack of a comprehensive company history being widely available has led to some amount of misinformation about Hall-Scott and its products being spread. Below you can find some assistance in doing additional reading on E. J. Hall and Hall-Scott. For example, below are links to the published work by Dias and Bradford. Dias and Bradford (as of 2007) have two articles in print (in Wheels of Time and Automotive History Review) and a book published by SAE Int'l, (available February 2007). Dias has signed a contract with Automobile Quarterly to write an article on E.J. Hall (no release date set), too. And included below is a partial bibliography Dias and Bradford have used in their work. The books and articles reference E.J. Hall and/or Hall-Scott, sometimes with just a passing reference, sometimes in great depth.
