collaborative presentation with Jackie Omland Titled: A paper titled “Teaching
Experiences, Methods and Techniques in E-learning Environment” was
published in the “World Conference on Open Learning Presentation on
digital video analysis and simulations and lead a discussion group
entitled “Using simulations in the Sciences” at the January, 2000

Presentation: Integrating Computers in the Physics Classroom, Northern Conference on Teaching and Learning, August, 1994 Conferences AttendedIn August, 2003, I
attended the national American Association of Physics Teachers National
meeting in Madison, Wisconsin. Based on several Attended the
American Association of Physics Teachers National Meeting in Lincoln,
Nebraska in August 1998. Took workshops in “Website Physics”,
Attended the South Dakota Academy of Science Annual Meeting, April 25 & 26,1997. Research2005 - I developed new
Microcomputer Based Laboratories: Intensity vs 2004 - I developed new Microcomputer Based Laboratories: Centripetal Force, Physical Pendulum, and R-L circuit.. See also “Honors and Awards” for further recent research activities. ServiceI collaborated with
the AP Physics Course by Jackie Omland in the E-learning Center and Mark
Farrand at Central High School in Rapid City. This I taught the first
half of the Elearning Center High School College Prep Physics Course
by distance delivery (Jackie Omland taught the second half). This I did a “DDN”
presentation titled “My Favorite Physics Demonstrations” in December,
2003 to 3 schools (20 students). This was part of the NSU College I developed the
E-learning CP Physics course in the Summer of 2001 and Collaboration with South Dakota Native American Mathematics Enhancement Program by designing and performing computer based laboratories in physics. Summer, 96, 97, 98 Presentation: a workshop (along with Abid Elkhader and Jeff Jay) to Native American Teachers at the “Promise School”. This was a regional in-service for three BIA elementary schools and we gave computer demonstrations in mathematics and science, demonstrated Internet usage in math and science, and hands on science activities. July, 1996 Applied for and became a participant in the Dakota Interconnect Project. This provides high speed Internet accesses through the fiber optic cable TV network in Aberdeen. Participation started in Aug 96 and continued through Apr 1997. Honors and AwardsReceived an Advanced
Governor’s Grant titled “University Physics Active http://www.northern.edu/nsuadvgov02/Dolejsiduanegg02adv.html Received an Advanced Governor’s Grant for summer of 2001 titled: Physics Modules with Internet Delivered Digital Video Support Received Governor’s
Grant for summer of 1999 titled: An Internet Based GE Physics Course
with a Virtual Laboratory. The project report on this may be http://www.northern.edu/NSUgov99/nsugovdd1.htm In 1998, I applied
for and received an OIS grant to develop some Internet course activities
on WebCT for Phys 101/102. In addition, I developed some Internet
course activities for Phys 211/212 These were published at the http://webct.northern.edu/webct/public/home.pl/. (use phystemp, phystemp as the logon and password to view these)
