Biography

Dr. A. S. Elkhader, professor of mathematics at Northern State University, Aberdeen, South Dakota, earned his doctorate in mathematics from Arizona State University.

Dr. Elkhader has interests in ordinary differential equations, math education, technology in collegiate mathematics, and diversity in the teaching of the STEM Disciplines. 

Courses Taught: Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Computer Packages, Complex Variables, Mathematical Modeling, Advanced Calculus, Linear Algebra, Math Concepts for Teachers I & II, Calculus for Business and Social Sciences, Calculus Sequence (I-III), Finite Mathematics, Pre-Calculus such as College algebra and/or Trigonometry.
