First, second or third-year special education teachers in
Region 4 attended a teachers' academy. Topics
included understanding the special education process, transition
to post secondary, and building partnerships with parents:
effective communications.
vThe
academy was held in Centennial Rooms A and C in the NSU
Student Center on February 28.
vRegistration
began at 8:30 a.m. with the academy running
from 9 a.m. to 3:30
p.m.
vAll
attendees received a complimentary lunch.
