Mentoring Program

 

   Special Education teachers are invited to participate in a mentoring program designed for teachers who are new to the special education field (three years or less).

Mentee/mentor pairs will engage in 10 hours of contact time and 2 hours of classroom observations. Mentees will receive a $400 stipend upon completion of the program. The stipend will be paid after all requirements are completed at the end of the 2005-2006 school year.
vVeteran special educations are also needed to act as mentors for the program. Mentors who complete the requirements will receive a
$600 stipend. The stipend will be paid after all requirements are completed at the end of the 2005-2006 school year.
