Twenty years ago, the NSU Men’s Basketball team qualified for the NCAA Division II Elite Eight Tournament! After winning four consecutive Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference titles, the Wolves clinched a berth in the national tournament held in Louisville, Ky.

The fourth annual Lamont-Rhodes Lecture Series presents Eric Snodgrass, director of atmospheric sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the NSU Johnson Fine Arts Center. A breakfast buffet will take place at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $20/person or $125/group of eight. Five Northern State University alumni and one Wolves team will be honored at this year’s NSU Hall of Fame Banquet. The banquet, part of Gypsy Days, will take place at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at the Dakota Event Center. Cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children. Each year, the NSU Alumni Association selects a Kretchman Coaching Award winner and also inducts former Wolves athletes into the NSU Hall of Fame.
