Northern State University will say goodbye to Lindberg Hall by celebrating J.C. Lindberg Day on April 30. J.C. Lindberg Day, hosted by the Lindberg Hall Council, will be held 1-3 p.m. at the hall and will include yard games, brick painting and walking tacos. The event is free and open to the public. The building will be taken down in May in preparation for a new residence hall in that location, which will be completed by July 2018.

Northern State University will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its two new residence halls at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 20. The ceremony will take place at the location of one of the planned residence halls, south of the Mewaldt-Jensen Building on the NSU campus. The groundbreaking is open to the public. Following the ceremony, Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours will be held on campus. That event will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the NSU Student Center Centennial Rooms.
