Create ‘N’: A Festival Celebrating Entrepreneurship, Creativity, Innovation and Workforce will take place Wednesday, Sept. 19, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the NSU Johnson Fine Arts Center. Keynote speakers are Dr. Art Diamond, Darrell D. Dorrell and Ron Gulaskey.
Grieg Festival will be held in the Krikac Auditorium November 8-9.
Northern State University will celebrate multiculturalism with a week’s worth of events, held Nov. 13-17 during national International Education Week. On Monday, Nov. 13, NSU Career Services will hold a student workshop, “Marketing your international experience,” 12:30-1:30 p.m.
The 2017 Northern State University back-to-school workshop will be held 8 a.m.-noon Aug. 16 in the Johnson Fine Arts Center Harvey and Cynthia Jewett Theater. The workshop, titled “Using High-Leverage Practices to Support Ambitious Learning for All Students,” will be led by Francesca Forzani and Nicole Garcia of TeachingWorks.
This new program for K-5 students will feature Chinese language education, activities and games. The camp will take place 8-11:30 a.m. July 31-Aug. 4. Cost is $25 per student.
