Richardson retires after 35 years
Changes are a part of life and one professor, Dr. Terry Richardson, while having observed many changes throughout his career at Northern State University, will now be embarking on one of his own. After giving 35 years of service to students at NSU, sharing his knowledge of various industrial technologies, Richardson is retiring. (Full Story)

National Student Exchange offers student opportunities
The National Student Exchange allows students to attend another university for a semester to a year while paying NSU’s tuition. There are 171 schools that are actively participating in the exchange. According to Michael Eisenbeisz, coordinator of NSE, he said that this gives a student the opportunity to view another type of environment. (Full Story)

Reading Clinic expands horizons
There is a little place in Seymour hall where students, young and old, can get away and expand their minds...through reading. Northern State University’s Reading Clinic was re-opened this year and is getting a face-lift this month. (Full Story)

Men Stracksters tie for first place at the NSIC conference championships

Wrestlers place five at regionals; three go to nationals
On Saturday, Feb. 24, the Northern State University wrestlers traveled to Moorhead, Minn., for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Wrestling Championships. Eleven teams participated in the day’s events. The Wolves placed seventh with 58 team points. Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) rivals Southwest State University and Minnesota State University Moorhead placed third and fifth respectively. (Full Story)

Women basketball finish regular season on a high note
The Northern State University women's basketball team finished their conference season on a strong note, with a perfect February and a second place finish in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) behind the Southwest State University Mustangs. (Full Story)

Men's basketball ends regular season at fifth in NSIC
Feb. 14 only brought heartbreak for the Cougars of Minnesota-Morris when they visited Wolves territory. Defeating Morris 94-63 and out-rebounding them 59-26, five men were in double figures for scoring.
