SBAC faces new budget challenges
Recently, the Student Budget and Appropriation Committee was faced with the first of many rounds of new deliberations over campus funding. It seems to me that this campus is suffering from an identity crisis. We, as a University, are no longer sure who we are or what our mission should be. I remember a time when Northern State University had its own distinctive identity, one that we were sure of and could be proud of. However, we are quickly becoming lost in the new millennium.

It has been almost three years since high school graduation. It seemed such an amazing feat, until I came to college. Life was so easy back then. All I had to do was get up, go to school and then do whatever. Whether that was being with friends, watching TV or going to cheerleading practice, life was simple. Coulter makes a comeback
The Northern State University women’s soccer team has been unstoppable at home. Sporting an 8-0-1 record on NSU grounds, the Wolves’ only roadblock at home came in the form of the regionally ranked fourth University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs, whom NSU played to a 0-0 tie. "A Little Night Music" opens at JFAC tomorrow night
“A Little Night Music” will open Thursday, Nov. 1 and play through Saturday, Nov. 3. Tickets went on sale Monday, Oct. 22, and are available at the Northern State University bookstore. Regents Present Awards to NSU Student Organizations
The South Dakota Board of Regents, met Oct.12 at Northern State University, to present awards to two student organizations from NSU. President Harvey C. Jewett presented the awards on the Board's behalf. "Promoting academics through organizations like the two honored today is an excellent way for students to use their knowledge to benefit their campus and community," said Jewett.
