Civil Liberties, Schmival Liberties

The Price of Patriotism
If there is any good that can come out of the attacks of Sept. 11 it would be that Americans have recognized our police and firefighters as the heroes they really are, and that there has been a tremendous surge in patriotism. The flag is everywhere: on coats, backpacks, sports uniforms, and yes, even on underwear. People are singing God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner more often and with more feeling. One can't help but wear red, white, and blue at every opportunity. I say it’s about time. (Read Full Editorial)

'A Little Night Music' review and responese
Sex. That was all I heard about “A Little Night Music.” Not knowing anything at all about the play but this one thing, I was still a little unprepared for some of the more racy scenes. This production truly is all about sex, and the NSU theater department pulled it off with style and flair. Laughter and tears, joy and anguish, frustration and relief, and these were just the emotions I felt sitting in the audience looking on. The cast, crew, and musicians all did a wonderful job.
