What We Do:
Building Maintenance
Routine electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting services are provided to all campus buildings. Maintenance personnel are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday during the school year and 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the summer. To request service please fill out a maintenance request form and send to Becky Wirkus, Monte Mehlhoff, or Wayne Fischer in the office of Facilities Management--NSU Box 865. Please fill out all lines of request form and we will take care of the problem. If you have a maintenance emergency, you should call 626-2560. Immediate action will be taken for all emergencies.
Preventative Maintenance
Mechanical equipment is cleaned and lubricated on an annual basis so as to avoid major problems during the heating or cooling season. If you experience heating or cooling problems in your office area, please contact our office immediately at 626-2560 so that we can repair as soon as possible. Our Heating Plant is staffed 24 hours per day from September to May. For after business hour emergencies, they may be reached at 626-2672.
Remodeling Projects
For minor remodeling projects we are able to assist you. For items such as new carpet, new bulletin boards, wall removal, etc., please fill out maintenance request form and either Monte or Wayne will contact you.
