CariD Scholarship

Deadline: Oct. 31, 2016

Summary: Applicant must be enrolled in a post-secondary education program for the upcoming semester and between the ages 16-20, and may not be a CARiD employee or relative. Requires original photo submission inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry. One $1,000 scholarship.

AlcoRehab Scholarship

Deadline: Feb. 1, 2017

Summary: Applicant must be enrolled full time, be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident and at least 18 years old. Requires application and essay. Three scholarships with the top valued at $3,000.

Maryknoll Scholarship

Deadline: Nov. 11, 2016

Summary: Applicants must be high school students. Requires application and essay. One $1,000 scholarship.

Good360 Scholarship

Deadline: Nov. 30, 2016

Summary: Applicant must be a high school senior or currently in college, 3.3 minimum GPA and interest in Environmentalism or Sustainability. Requires online application, essay on a photo posted to Twitter or Instagram. One $1,000 scholarship.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

Deadline: Oct. 31, 2016
Summary: Applicants must be U.S. high school seniors planning to pursue a degree at a U.S. post-secondary institution, carrying a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the end of their junior year. Requires application, transcript, school profile, name and contact information of high school guidance counselor and principal, and list of clubs, honors and volunteer organizations in which applicant has participated since freshman year.

Slickdeals Student Scholarship
Deadline: Oct. 31, 2016
Summary: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents, at least 17 years old, currently registered full-time in an undergraduate program. Requires online application and essay. Scholarship value up to $5,000.

American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship
Deadline: April 7, 2017
Summary: Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled at a post-secondary institution for fall of 2017. Home-schooled students whose study is equivalent to a senior in high school are eligible. Requires online application process. Relatives of AFSA staff or NATIONAL board members may not enter. Ten $2,000 scholarships awarded.

Frank Kazmierczak Memorial Migrant Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 1, 2017
Summary: Applicants must have recent history of migration for agricultural employment, teaching as a career goal, scholastic achievement, and financial need. Requires application, two letters of recommendation, essay, and official transcript. $1,000 scholarship awarded.

Brian Meyer Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: Oct. 31, 2016
Summary: Applicants must have completed at least two semesters at an accredited post-secondary South Dakota school; student or family must be a subscriber of a South Dakota Telecommunications Association (SDTA) member company. Requires application, essay, two letters of recommendation, and transcript. One $1,250 and one $500 scholarship to be awarded for the 2017 spring semester.

South Dakota Well Drillers Association Scholarship
Deadline: Dec. 1, 2016
Summary: Applicants must be a South Dakota resident or child/dependent of individual employed by a member company in good standing; full-time student who has completed their freshman year at an accredited post-secondary South Dakota School with a major related to the water/water well/groundwater industry; must have 2.0 GPA; top two winners required to attend SDWDA Convention to accept scholarship. Requires typed application, essay, transcript, photo and two letters of recommendation. One $4,000, one $3,000 and three $1,000 scholarships awarded.


South Dakota Board of Regents Scholarships

South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship

Summary: Applicants must be South Dakota students who attended an eligible higher education institution in South Dakota. Requires composite ACT score of 24 or higher, a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and completion of the high school course requirements commonly known as the Regents Scholar curriculum. Guaranteed to all students who qualify, $5000 over four years.
