Deadline: Sept. 1, 2015
Summary: Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are majoring in logistics or an equivalent field. Requires application, transcripts, enrollment verification, and essay. Five $1,000 scholarships.
Deadline: Dec. 1, 2015
Summary: Applicants must be U.S. citizens who have battled cancer or who have an immediate family member or close friend who is fighting or has fought cancer. Requires application, essay, transcript, proof of enrollment, and two recommendation letters.

    

Deadline: Dec. 31, 2015
Summary: Open to all degree-seeking students.  Applicants must submit a bio, signed agreement, and an essay on the topic:  “How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town?”  Two $2,000 scholarships.
   
Deadline: July 1, 2015
Summary: Applicants must live in or maintain residency in Lincoln or Minnehaha counties and be majoring in business. Requires application, two recommendation forms, and transcript.  One $2,500 scholarship.
 

 

South Dakota Board of Regents Scholarships

 

Jump Start Scholarship
Deadline: Sept. 1
Summary: Applicants must be South Dakota residents who graduate from high school in 3 years or fewer. Guaranteed $1771.34 for one year.

South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship

Summary: Applicants must be South Dakota students who attended an eligible higher education institution in South Dakota. Requires composite ACT score of 24 or higher, a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and completion of the high school course requirements commonly known as the Regents Scholar curriculum. Guaranteed to all students who qualify, $5000 over four years.
