Cassi Mooney, Advisor
Hometown: Granite Falls, MN
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Business Management
Campus activities & involvement: New Student Orientation, Campus Activities Board, Homecoming-Gypsy Days, Intramurals, Student Organizations
What has been your best experience at NSU?
As a student I enjoyed being involved in different activities and organizations, especially the Campus Activities Board. As a freshman I knew I wanted to get involved but didn’t necessarily want a leadership role. Through my four years I was involved as a cabbie, as several different committee directors, President and now the advisor. It gave me a chance to meet so many people, and plan great events for all students to enjoy.
What is one thing you wish you knew before starting school at NSU?
Going home every weekend is not necessary!
What advice would you give to a new student?
Don’t be afraid to try something new! Get involved with an organization that you don’t know much about or that you think you might be interested in. It’s a great way to find a new hobby and meet new people. |
