Welcome to Northern State University’s Northern Galleries. This Web site has been established for the casual viewer, the person interested in viewing the schedule or other aspects of our galleries, and artists who are showing at or are considering showing at Northern State University (NSU).

Northern Galleries is located in the city of Aberdeen, which is in northeastern South Dakota. Our mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address can be found at the bottom of this page. If you desire information that relates to our staff, please click on the button to the left labeled “Staff.”

Every attempt has been made to set up this Web site to meet any need you may have that relates to our galleries. We hope you find it easy and convenient to navigate about the site. At the very top of each page are “Home” and “Contents” buttons. These buttons will either return you to the page you’re presently at or take you around the entire site. The buttons immediately below our first order of banners will link you to the main areas of the Web site (Galleries, Schedule, Mission Statement, and Staff). The left-hand buttons in the pages devoted to our four galleries will forward you to (1) the exhibition schedule for a particular gallery, (2) gallery specifications (these pages will probably most interest artists either showing at or planning to show at NSU), and (3) photographs of the galleries.

The exhibitions in each of Northern Galleries’ four galleries change anywhere from every two weeks to every ten weeks. This means we are a rather dynamic visual arts venue, obliging us to update this site regularly. Therefore, the information you find here should always be current.
