Northern State University's next Gypsy Day will be:

Each October, maroon and gold fever takes over the campus and community of Aberdeen during Northern State University’s annual homecoming celebration, Gypsy Days.
The weeklong celebration draws many alumni back to Northern for a full slate of fun events. The festivities also include the crowning of a Gypsy Day queen and marshal. Northern students decorate business windows all around Aberdeen with Wolves-themed paintings.

Royalty Meet & Greet/Pep Rally – 8 p.m.; Graham Hall Steps/Campus Green
Tuesday, Oct. 1
Office Decorating Contest
Wednesday, Oct. 2
Lunch for a Buck/Points of Pride Day (POP) 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Campus Green (Rain Location: Student Center Mall)
Thursday, Oct. 3
Coronation, 7 p.m., Johnson Fine Arts Center; followed by Burning of the N
Friday, Oct. 4
Gypsy Day Dance, 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.; Ward Hotel
Saturday, Oct. 5
Gypsy Day Parade, 9 a.m.
The week culminates in the largest parade in South Dakota: the annual Gypsy Day Parade, which draws about 200 groups, including floats and marching bands, from South Dakota and surrounding states. The week also features Northern football, volleyball and soccer games.
