High School

William Haigh claims to be a 1955 graduate of Yale - that is Yale High
School.  Yale is located about 15 miles northeast of Huron, South Dakota.
He grew up 3 miles south of Yale on a stock farm and that probably explains
the hat  in the picture on the home page.

Teaching Experiences

Haigh taught mathematics and science at Stickney High School in Stickney, South Dakota for three years - from 1959 until 1962.  He began teaching at Northern in the fall of 1963.  Except for a couple of years to complete his doctorate, he has been at Northern since 1963.   Return to Home Page
