MISSION STATEMENT

The Northern State University Educational Technology Services (NET Services) department has an integral role to play in assisting the university in achieving its mission. NET Services strives to provide a reliable and effective information technology infrastructure, resources and technical support for the administrative, teaching, learning and outreach functions of the university. Through the work of NET Services personnel, all faculty, staff and students in the university community and their outreach partners will have convenient, appropriate and equitable access to the technologies they need to do their work and to achieve their educational goals.  

NET Services is composed of seven divisions; the Centralized Technology Help Desk,   Administrative Systems, Media Services, Instructional Design, Technical Services, Network and Security, and Web Development. All divisions are directed by the NSU Chief Information Officer.
