Alert: Window Live Hotmail/G-Mail/Yahoo Phishing Scam

Systems Affected: All Windows Users

Overview: There continues to be a number of different phishing scams (email hoaxes) circulating, all of them asking users to provide personal information, such as their email username and password, and several individuals from the NSU Community have been fooled by these scams. These emails can sometimes be difficult to spot, so in response we have provided five steps to help the NSU Community avoid further email hoaxes.
