Connecting from the Residence Halls

Students accessing the network from the residence halls must complete the installation of the Cisco Clean Access Agent process before their computer will be allowed connection to the network. Symantec Anti-Virus is offered free of charge to students in and its installation is part of the Clean Access process.

Connecting to Wireless

In order to access the NSU wireless, you must complete the installation of the Cisco Clean Access Agent process.

Cisco Clean Access Agent (CCA)

Northern State University implements Clean Access (formerly Perfigo).  This is a security solution to increase network security on the NSU Campus. Clean Access will contain "infected" systems to keep vulnerable systems from becoming infected.  The goal is to provide a more reliable, consistent, and safe networking environment for the entire university.
