FACULTY PROFILES

The HPE department maintains four full-time faculty who have accrued in excess of 50 years of experience in the field of education at varying levels. The areas of emphasis for the faculty include Sport Management, Sport Psychology, Coach Education, Exercise Science, Health Education, and Physical Education. The department’s instructional staff, including graduate assistants, coaches and adjunct faculty, is supplemented by over 20 instructors with varying types of expertise.

Along with actively pursuing excellence in the classroom, the four full-time faculty have obtained multiple grants and completed numerous research projects over the past five years. They have also presented at statewide, regional, national, and international conferences and conventions in that same five year period. This is a great example of the dedication, professionalism, and caring put forth by the faculty.
