Facilities - Intramural @ Student Recreation Center

Students at Northern State are able to utilize the Barnett Center and Intramural & Student Recreation Center, (Dacotah Hall) for recreation purposes.  Open recreation is available in the ISRC throughout the week. Students that have completed a Safety Orientation will be able to have their Student ID card accessed to use the facility from 6am-12pm, 7 days a week. The ISRC is available to check out equipment and balls when staff is present.

Sunday - 4:00pm-10:00pm

Monday - 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm

Tuesday - 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm

Wednesday - 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm

Thursday - 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm

Friday - 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm

The Dacotah Hall Wellness Center completed construction during the Summer of 2006 and will be ready for use starting Fall 2006.  This Wellness Center  features over 3,500 square feet of space designed for movement classes such as Aerobic, Pilates, and Kickboxing.  The ISRC also includes a variety of selectorized strength training equipment, and state of the art cardio machines.  Several Intramural events will also be scheduled in the Dacotah Hall facility.
