  Rules & Information

Last Day for Roster Changes is October 27!                
Fast & Easy Water Basketball Rules                  
1.  Games are played with one 30 minute continuous clock.  Clock stops inside of 1 minute on deadball possessions.      
2.  Must have at least 3 players in the water to start a game.              
3.  Your butt (or rear end) must be in the center of the tube at all times              
4.  Each basketball is worth 2 points.  Free throws will be shot in the case of a foul.  Free throws are worth 1 point.      
5.  Each team has 2 time outs per game.                  
6.  Fouls will be called for over aggressive play such as trying to tip over a tube, clawing, hitting, or intentionally roughing another player.  
7.  Leaving your tube to attempt to block a shot is goal tending and the opposing team will receive an automatic 2 points.      
8.  Leaving your tube to shoot or dunk the ball is not allowed and will result in a change of possession.        
9.  The ball will be thrown into play to start the game.                
10.  In case of an overtime, 5 minute continuous clock with the clock stopping inside of 1 minute for deadball.  Each team receives 1 timeout, timeouts do not carry over from regulation.
11.  All rescheduled games must be in the open slots with Central Staff approval with at least one days notice.        
12.  Teams not ready to play after 5 minutes of scheduled game time spot the other team 5 points.  After 10 minutes, the game is forfeited.
