This goes back to my visit to Versailles, this is the Douphanes privet study. I like the turquoise color of things in the room. This is one of the side desks.

Me taking the picture, you can really see how much turquoise is in the room. He especially studied religion, history, and law.

If green was conducive to sleep and relaxing for the eyes, what was red? This was the Douphines bedroom. in 1747, before that it was an anti chamber and before that it was a guard room.

King Louie the 15th when he took the throne at five years old. He looks much older than that doesn't he?

A shot of one of the gardens, heck a small forest too. How would you like that for a back yard? In the winter you could have your own skating rink and imagine the snowball fights, if it got that cold. Hunting is definitely a sport that would work.

One of the fountains, but its not on. Remember this because you will see it with the fountain on in the spring.

Another shot of the gardens. I like all the designs made by all the plants. No, I don't know any of these people.

At a book store in Mons I saw this poster in the window. Harry Potter in French, the fourth book is not out yet. I got a zany idea, maybe I should read one of them in French. I have read one in American English and three in British English.

We went to a restaurant that specialized in moule. This is Etienne, Chantal, and Christoph's parents. His mom is also called Chantal.

The next generation, generation X. Florence and Jeremy, Christel and Christoph, Daphnei and her boyfriend, and Stephanie and her husband. When Xavier got there we had a total of 14 people, not a bad turn out.

That is as high as you are allowed to go. But I had this crazy idea to get a shot with me on the lion's back, no such luck.

That's the lion. It is memory of Napoleon getting defeated. Herby has more details, I am sure.

This shot was taken with Herby in mind because it shows which armies were where and the battle field.

Here is a closer view of the legend, so you can see which colors are which country. How do they choose which country is which color?
