Getting closer.  After visiting the church we walked some of the area around the church.  Two artists found us and asked if we wanted out portraits done.  We bargained the price down a bite, then let them have at it.

At the base of the church there is this fountain.  I found it interesting that the fountain had mermen, I would not have expected this at a church.

At Peré Lachaise, a well know cemetery, there is this tomb.  The story says that two lovers that could not be together in life on this planet, are buried together here.

Look at all the work that was put in to decorating this place!  Everything, just about, is trimmed with the color gold.  That probably has something to do with the kings sign being the sun.

This globe is found in the room above.  It signifies study of Earth and sky, that is why part of it is split.  There are dolphins at the base because the king's oldest son's symbol was the dolphin.
