Today we went to look at the Fox Glacier, went to  Bruce Bay, and then came over the Haast Pass.   We even got to stop and see the Roaring Billy Falls (sounds   like dad working on the computer...).   And then...   brace yourselves...   Janne went bungy Jumping!   I got a   few shots, but most of them are a little blurred.

Me in a picture with the famous cave at Fox Glacier
Fox Glacier is somewhat larger than Franz-Josef, and is much better known.
A close-up of Fox's cave.
Fox Glacier.
The sunrise as it gently caps the surrounding mountains and reaches for the cascading waterfalls.
A nice shot of me over a glacial stream. This water flows through nature's oldest filtration system...
and it's the best tasting water I've ever had!
You need to be REALLY careful around this place. Rock slides aren't unusual and there are even some areas where you're not allowed to sop walking!
Another of New Zealand's neato birds, the kea is the only Alpine parrot in the world. This one was extremely curious and decided to check out the back of a pickup truck.

I just can't get enough of the scenery around here!

A hike out to Roaring Bill Falls. We just had to check this one out for Dad...
Roaring Billy (no he didn't stub his toe) Falls.
It's a sign!
Oh Boy! More cows, right in the middle of the road...
or right beside the road... or both!
Farewell Queenstown!

Hang on Joanna!
Here at Kawarau Bridge, dear Janne jumped... BUNGY!!!
This bridge, built in 1880, was the original bungy bridge and is now kept by the A.J. Hackett company.
