Me out on the rocks at the Leigh beach during low tide.  These pictures were taken on a beach walk duing a course about marine reserves.

  These are two limpits.  The one on the left is decended from land snails and the one on the right is strictly marine.

  Brittle star was found under a rock.

  It's hard to see but there is a starfish in the shadows.  This starfish diliberately pulls itself abart to make more armes.

  There are two chitons and one sea slug.

  Dr. Bill Ballantine says if I swim about 10,000 Ks in that direction I would reach the California coast.
