We think that these are hydroids, but no lab tests have been done yet. :)

  This is what they look like from a bit more of a distance.

  These are Cantharitus, the other snail that I am working with.  The one on the right of this picture has some build up on it.

  The brown stuff around the urchin is actually not good for it...killing it...I think it was a diatom of sorts.

  This are a type of feather dusters...they pull into their tube when you get to close.

  Close up...nice bluish color.
