This building has a clover on it because the barrister who originally had the building made was Irish.

  Under this pavilion is where the rubble from the old city was piled.  The silver ball that I am standing next to is a memorial to the sailors of H.M.S. Veronica, who helped locals during and after the Earthquake...they sent word to Auckland, rescued people, aided in putting out fires, etc...general heroics.
