Dr. Morrow served as the President of the Graduate Students’ Association of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese of the University of Toronto from 1995-1996. His duties were twofold: 1) Organize the 16th Annual Levy-Wasteneys Symposium which took place March 2nd, 1996, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As President of the Association, Dr. Morrow had to judge the work of others in his field and select which papers would be presented during the scholarly and literary conference attended by scholars from Canada and abroad.

Dr. Morrow is presently on the Review Board for Filum Ariadnae, the Journal of Classical and Oriental Studies, published in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Scientific Advisor for CEDIMS and CETEDI
Dr. Morrow is a Scientific Advisor for the Mulla Sadra Center for Islamic Studies and Resources (CEDIMS) and the Editorial Center for Digital Islamic Texts (CETEDI), organisms which depend upon the Department of Social and Political Studies in Africa and the Middle East of the Latin American Institute of Islamic Culture (FILACI).
Member of the Editorial Committee for Tinta y sombra
Dr. Morrow served on the editorial committee of the scholarly and literary journal Tinta y sombra, produced by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese of the University of Toronto, Canada, for three academic years: 1994-1995, 1995-1996 and 1996-1997. As such, he had to evaluate the work of his peers and select which articles would be published.
Judge on Panel
While Assistant Professor of Modern Languages at Park University, Dr. Morrow, was called upon to serve on an evaluative review panel which would judge Theresa Skinner’s presentation on “Jihad” at Oak Park High School in Kansas City. Dr. Morrow was called upon for his expertise on Islamic Studies. The panel also included Professor Machrina Blasdell, a religious studies and philosophy professor from Park University and Dr. Gary L. Ebersole, Professor of History and Director of the University of Missouri at Kansas City Center for Religious Studies.
