MLA International Bibliography
Citation database of journal articles, books and dissertations; coverage dating back to 1963. Coverage is international and subjects include literature, language and linguistics, folklore, literary theory & criticism, dramatic arts, as well as the historical aspects of printing and publishing.

Perseus Digital Library 
Digital library of resources for the study of the humanities; includes texts relating to ancient Greece, Latin text and tools, and Renaissance-related materials. Also includes materials on the United States' westward expansion and other materials of early American history including the American Civil War. 

Project Gutenberg 
Provides access to books in the public domain in electronic text format; over 6,000 titles have been posted to the site. Texts available include "light" and "heavy"
literature and reference sources such as almanacs, encyclopedias, and dictionaries. 

Project MUSE
Full-text database of more than 200 scholarly publications in the arts and humanities, social sciences, and mathematics.

Women Writers Online 
Resource devoted to early modern women's writing covering a period from 1400 to 1850.
