Web 2.0 is different in a few ways than Web 1.0 (or the regular web):
- Social - easy to share information with others and add comments to
news, blogs, etc.
- Collaboration - easy to work on projects without emailing documents
back and forth
- Storing data online - store resources, documents, bookmarks, etc
online for free
- Targeted advertising - ads based on content, searches, subject, etc.

A student can subscribe to many
newspapers and receive new editions every morning
at his door. Similar to subscribing to print newspapers, you can subscribe to online
newspapers, blogs, etc. via an RSS reader. RSS subscriptions are called
feeds.
Thus, you log on to your RSS reader and see all the
updates to your subscriptions (feeds).

podcast with you, you will need one of the free programs, podcatcher,
listed below.

Vlogs
