Symphony, "Salsa Picante" Latin Jazz Quintet, Herb Jeffries, Carmine Cavallero, June Valli.  Dr. Manhart continues his committment to music performance and education his private studio at Northern State University, and received the 2002  Northern State University "Outstanding Professor" award. He runs "Dr. Manhart's Summer Jazz Workshop" at the Elkhart (Ind.) Jazzfest, and maintains a schedule of performances and clinics in the US and Canada.
