Using the software Small Groups to understand the basic concepts of Abstract Groups,
ICTCM, 1997.
Basic algebra, Intermediate algebra, College algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Engineering calculus, Business calculus,Differential equations, Linear algebra, Algebra and geometry for elementary school teachers, Theory of numbers, Commutative algebra, Galois fields, Homological algebra.
Directed independent study and seminars leading to 9 B.S. and 3 M.S. theses at University of Los Andes. Two students of mine did Ph.d in U.S.A. Helped University of Los Andes set up Master's program.
HONORS:
1. Listed in the current editions of WHO's WHO in Science and Engineering and Who’s Who in the Midwest.
2. Listed in the 23rd edition of WHO's WHO in the Midwest
3. Spent a year at Univesite de Paris XI working with P. Samuel and was accepted as a candidate for D.Sc.
4. Awarded University of Colorado Fellowship for 3 years.
5. Was one of the 5 judges for the National Prize in Mathematics
of Venezuela in 1982.
6. Nominated for Burlington Northern Faculty award in 1990.
7. Chaired the Math Search Committee in 1990
8. Student representative on Graduate Committee at U. of Colorado.
