Art Marmorstein

Art Marmorstein, Professor/Division Coordinator (B.A., Stanford University; M.A., California State University, Sacramento; Ph.D, University of California, Davis)

Art, a specialist in Ancient History, is currently doing research on Persian and Roman eschatology.  He is a frequent guest lecturer, speaking on topics like Men, Women, and Other Mythological Creatures, and The Death of Love.  Art  is the advisor to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and  Phi Eta Sigma.  Dr. Marmorstein was the recipient of the NSU College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award in 2000.   For course syllabi and other information, see Art's homepage.  Dr. Marmorstein has been teaching at Northern since 1988.
