This course includes a survey of Roman history from the time of the Roman monarchy through the reign of Constantine. It also includes a discussion of many of the greatest works of Latin literature, including the histories of Tacitus, Suetonius, and Sallust, the plays of Plautus, and the poems of Catullus, Ovid, Virgil, and Horace. |  Return to I'm Ancient History |
